Sy het haar personeel streng gekeur en bestuur en hulle 24/7 gemonitor. Behalwe dat sy ‘n ongelooflike suster is, is sy ook ‘n mense mens en was sy vir my en my ouers nie net suster Elize nie maar ook ‘n geliefde vriendin”

Elize Harris is 'n opregte en dierbare mens. Ons het haar in Julie 2011 leer ken. Ons vader is deur diep waters by 'n vorige bejaarde tehuis en ons was dringend opsoek na 'n plekkie in die son vir hom, waar hy nie net die basiese versorging sou kry nie, maar ook omvou sou word met liefde. By The Retreat aftree-oord, was daar 'n pragtige omgewing, goeie behuising, maar ook Elize Harris. Sy en haar personeel het my pa veilig laat voel en ons kinders ook gereeld op die hoogte gehou van sy liggaamlike en geestelike toestand. Sy het nie geskroom om hom onder andere na sy dokter en spesialiste te vergesel nie. Hy het weer vertroue in mense gekry en in homself. Elize is uitstekend opgelei, het jare se ervaring in haar beroep, veral met die versorging van bejaardes. U kan met geruste hart u geliefdes in haar sorg laat.

Your kindness and patience shown to our mother will always be remembered. There comes a time when ones precious Parents reach an age when they need to be professionally cared for, lovingly understood and treated with the utmost care that they deserve. Sadly this is not always possible for the close family to do. What then? Who does one turn to? Where does one find comfort, security and peace of mind?

“Retire At Home” provided all the care needed within the familiar surroundings of my Parents home. The Careworkers who worked with my parents became a very special part of the family’s life. They had happy dispositions, were trustworthy and well trained.

finding someone who would fit in well with my wife and I, and with whom my wife would feel comfortable and safe. She introduced us to a caregiver who has been with us since She arrives promptly at 7am and leaves at 4pm. She is reliable and competent. In addition to being a caregiver she keeps our home clean and does the washing. My wife enjoys her company during the day. Our thanks go to Elize for her assistance and service.”
